The sophomore Class Council finalized their plans for a grade-wide social next Friday Sept. 30 to celebrate the start of the new school year. The class also discussed their plans for fundraisers and volunteer opportunities in the coming months. The class is in the process of planning breakfast sales and a wrapping paper fundraiser. Class of 2019 adviser Sharyn O’Keefe presented an idea to council members to work with Wreaths Across America, an organization that places wreaths on veterans’ gravestones to honor them at Christmas time.
