At this week’s meeting, members read their submitted pieces for last week’s theme: “raw.” Editor-in-chief and senior Angel Chasco of Middletown started the session with his poem and editor junior Karoline Winzer of Matawan ended with hers. This week’s theme is “red.” Submissions for the first issue of Lit Mag are due by Oct. 24. The Dodge Poetry Festival is on Oct. 21, and there are only 12 spots. Interested attendees can apply to attend the trip on a Google Form sent out to the school.
