The rising sophomore, junior and senior classes held elections today to decide the new class councils for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidates were narrowed down in a primary in May, and those remaining gave speeches to their prospective classmates. Election results were announced at the end of the day by class advisers.

The sophomore council will consist of President Evan Kuo of Tinton Falls, Vice President Dane Tedder of Ocean and council members Ryan Swanson of Brielle, Emily Madeira of Howell and Liam Jamolod of Howell.

The junior council will consist of President Erica Sammarco of Colts Neck, Vice President Liam Marshall of Sea Girt and council members Rebecca Rippon of Ocean, Audrey Wilenta of Wall and Lauren DeFelice of Wall.

The senior council will consist of President Kyle Galvin of Middletown, Vice President Caroline Savage of Brielle and council members Ebenezer Shim of Spring Lake Heights, Dylan Josephson of Middletown and Matthew Avena of Middletown.

The Drama Club also held interviews in May for the new Assistant Director and Assistant Producer positions. The new Assistant Director will be Summer Ward of Oceanport and the new Assistant Producer will be Kelly Forrester of Spring Lake Heights.
