The Class of 2019 elected its Sophomore Class Council on May 24. During DEAR, all freshmen reported to Room 144 to see the 11 candidates present their speeches. After fourth period, the new council was announced: President Liam Marshall of Sea Girt, Vice President Erica Sammarco of Colts Neck and council members Connor Martin of Spring Lake Heights, Rebecca Rippon of Ocean and Audrey Wilenta of Wall.
Martin was elected last year to Freshman Class Council and was re-elected.
“This year, I hope to plan and execute a successful Winter Ball and work to bring our class together,” Martin said. “I hope to contribute as much as possible to help our grade.”
