The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) held its first official meeting with all new members from the junior class. Candidates for the club’s junior representative position spoke briefly during the meeting about their qualifications and intentions when elected for the position. Junior Christina Alfano of Middletown was elected. The Art Club, a club for underclassmen who are unable to join NAHS, will be holding its first workshop of the school year on Oct. 26 to teach techniques regarding rubbing alcohol and ink. The sketchbook prompt, “Found Objects,” is due Nov. 30, which will be followed by a critique.
