By Audrey Wilenta - As second period came to a close on Thursday, 11 candidates awaited the familiar beep of the loudspeaker, which would call all freshmen down to the cafeteria to begin their class elections. The elections took place during the DEAR period, and at the end of the day, freshman Kevin Clark of Spring Lake was announced as president.
