Name of Piece: “Nevermind”

Artist: Meagan Ellis

This piece was a commission by my friend as the cover of an album he’s making. With references to pictures of himself, I used brushes and smudging tools in Adobe Photoshop to draw him with duplicates of himself in the background. I like to mess around with color and form in my work, so I had a lot of fun working with all of the contrast going on in this piece.

Interesting Fact: I had to make a lot of last-minute changes. The original vibe for the cover was to have a glitch effect. After experimenting with the piece, however, I was asked to have everything on fire instead.
