“It was created through some experimentation with realism and trying to discover different styles and originally was supposed to be a more realistic-looking piece, however that obviously took a different route. The drawing is of Jade Thirlwall who is an English performer, which is why I decided to have the only color in the piece be green or ‘Jade.’” – Freshman Charlotte Davie of Howell
