The SkillsUSA meeting began with the council and committee heads for the Halloween Dance to donate food and decorations for the upcoming event on Oct. 28. Donations would contribute to scholarship consideration for the cost of competitions. Juniors and seniors were also supposed to have their Career Day contacts in by this meeting, as the council is hoping to have a finalized schedule by the end of the month. For exit sales, the council will be randomly drawing names out of a hat for who will be donating for each week. National Technical Honor Society applications are due from interested juniors and seniors on Oct. 17.
