Junior class meets to discuss Battle of the Bands

Arielle Hutchinson

The junior class met to split into committees for the next major class fundraiser and to gather donors for the next exit sale. After getting cancelled last year, the Class of 2018 received approval to revive Battle of the Bands. President Samara Ghali of Colts Neck will handle food, Vice President Kyle Galvin of Middletown will handle auditions and logistics, secretary Courtney Kushnir of Colts Neck will handle decorations, treasurer Matt Avena of Middletown will handle advertising and council member Samantha LaRochelle of Middletown will handle ticket sales and tech. Adviser and Spanish teacher Karen Britto also asked any interested designers to design a t-shirt that can be sold at the event to help emphasize the concert atmosphere. Battle of the Bands will be held on March 17.
